Have updates on all up-to-date: xbox controller firmware, windows 10 and newest mumble build. Using the sidebuttons on the mouse would be pretty convenient but I already have switching through nades bound on them. Still not able to figure out a solution for using the hotkey at all times when connecting the xbox controller through wireless bluetooth. Which button do you use to Push-to-talk I use T but it's not really ideal because I my index finger is 'unusable' for walking while I push it. Click the 'Add' button to start the shortcut setup. Having my controller set up this way will allow me to activate my push-to-talk hot key at all times, not just when mumble application/window is active. On the left hand side click the 'Shortcuts' menu to setup a hotkey for Push to Talk. Under the 'Audio Input' option you will be able to set the 'Transmit' drop down to the 'Push To Talk' option. Click on the blank area in the Shortcut area of the new Unassigned row that’s appeared and press your desired key combination for talking to the current channel only. Click on the 'Configure' menu then click 'Settings'. Still not able to figure out a solution for using the hotkey at all times when connecting the xbox controller through wireless bluetooth. Go to Configure Settings Make sure the Advanced box is ticked, if there’s one present. Having my controller set up this way will allow me to activate my push-to-talk hot key at all times, not just when mumble application/window is active. For example, I usually use as my push to talk button just because its in the corner of the keyboard and usually isnt assigned to anything important. Some troubleshooting I did: I connected the controller via USB directly to the PC and reconfigured a push-to-talk hot key, which shows up as 'XBOX1:Left Thumb'. Map one of the buttons on the Steam Controller to whatever keystroke Mumble wants for push to talk and it should work. in-game or chrome, etc.) then the button will not register and push-to-talk does not work. However, if i click somewhere out of mumble (i.e. The XINPUT button is assigned and will work as long as mumble is my active application.

When setting up push to talk, I have the button correctly assigned as the controller is connected via bluetooth to windows 10. I am having issues w/ my xbox controller using as a push-to-talk key.
